West Peak Capital is looking to add an Analyst to our team.

The role is based in Somerset West / Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

West Peak Capital is a specialist investment and advisory firm focused on alternative investments, with exposure across private credit, private equity and real estate. We operate as a lean, entrepreneurial team while applying institutional investment discipline across our advisory, execution and investment activities.

This is a front-office role with exposure across private credit, alternative investments and U.S. real estate. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members across live transactions, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, investor materials, due diligence and client-facing execution.

The role is suited to a high-performing early-career professional who wants broad exposure across the investment lifecycle in a high-responsibility environment.

Key areas of exposure include:

  • Private credit underwriting, financial analysis, covenant structuring and borrower due diligence
  • Investment screening, deal evaluation and transaction support
  • Portfolio monitoring and performance reporting
  • Investor presentations, IC materials, research and client deliverables
  • Support on real estate and broader investment initiatives, including U.S. senior living opportunities
  • Direct involvement in live deals, clients and investment decision-making

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, investments, transaction advisory, corporate finance, private credit or related fields
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism and commercial judgement
  • A genuine interest in private markets, structured finance and real estate
  • A driven, hardworking self-starter with a proactive mindset
